A Font of Typographical Humor (The Helvetica, You Say!)

So, Arial, Garamond, and Verdana walk into a bar, and the bartender says...

by Stephen J. Gertz

"Is that Big Caslon Bold in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?" Lucida asked.

"Sit on my typeface," Harrington said to Georgia as Marker Felt Euphemia.

"Are you Desdemona?"

"No, you must be Mshtakan."

"No, you are.  I'm Al Bayan."

He's Roman.

How do you know?

Take a look at that profile: definitely Aquiline.

Think so? Looks Alien, to me.
